Everything I write here is "ALLEGED". So, do not say I am spreading some false truth. Most everyone will have heard the information before in our halls, I'm just putting it out there to be confirmed or corrected. And why not?
Not all of this is going to be stupid, shallow information. I like to have a nice mix of content.
Homecoming week has come and gone. I thought it went pretty good
myself. Talent show-could have been better. But everyone that
participated did a great job. The football game, as we all know, we
sadly didn't win. BUT, we played great. And thats all that matters.
The dance. I didn't like the DJ, and I know a lot of people share that
opinion, but he could have been worse right? I danced my booty off at
the dance and I know the rest of you did too. Did everyone enjoy it??
Has drama passed after homecoming week like we call had hoped? No. Does
drama ever pass at Lutheran? No, its always looming in the distance.
On another note, and this is my opinion, but with the first issue of
Purple Ink out, I found one article to be very disturbing. Junior Rob
Wirth's article. I personally do not know him, and I know it was an
opinion article, but I was kinda mad about it. And I know a lot of
people are. And it has nothing to do with my political view, because
I'm not really into politics, but I didn't like his article at all. He
didn't have facts to back up what he said, and he made it sound like
our government caused that hurricane and all those people to die. Not a
smart move. And I know a lot of people share the opinion I do. I just
hope that he makes a smarter choice in the coming issues.
As far as Sadies coming up, I'll post the OFFICIAL theme as soon as I
know. And all those girls ask those guys. Cuz its Sadie Hawkins dance,
in my khaki pants, oh Oh OH! Girls ask the guys, it's always a
surprise, there's nothing better!
I dont think what happened these past couple days concerning expulsion
of LHS Junior Ryan McKinney was fair. It was uneccesary, unfair, and
over-exaggerated as far as I'm concerned. If you are going to punish
people, you have to punish everyone, not just one person that was
involved. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then I'm going to
try to explain now, although I wasn't there. So if something isn't 100%
true, I'm very sorry but I'm just trying to sum up what happened from
what I heard.
Max Cortright was apparently bullying Ryan, as many people do. Ryan, as
a joke, "bitch slapped" Max, and Max in return pushed him into Colleen
F., resulting in her getting hurt somehow. Now, Ryan is expelled.
To me, that's not fair. It was both the boys fault, and if they are
going to hand out punishment, at least be fair about it. Plus,
expelling someone for that, when it was obviously a mistake, is very
unfair in itself.
Other than that, not much else to say. There's still drama with people
and friends, as far as I can tell, and that will always be an issue. In
the meantime, please try to stop this drama. No one needs it. A lot of
people are very stressed out by things and we are teenagers, we don't
need to be constantly worrying about things. So, take life as it comes.
That's my only advice.

Although I looked through the LHS class of 09 blogring, I managed to
find nothing really interesting to sum up the class. So if any freshman
are reading this and want to correct me and fill me in on anything
remotely interesting happening, let me know.

have a confession... its stupid of me to think this but i did.. i
seriously thought that this year was going to be less drama filled, but
the first 2 weeks of school have been more drama filled than freshman
and sophomore year combined.. stupid of me to think this.. because if
its like this now, who knows what its going to be like next year or
even further into this year... i just hope
that people can change for senior year, i dont want to deal with it
when im a senior i have better things to worry about..

So... when drama is happenin' (and there seems to be an over-abundance of it at Lutheran lately), before you allow yourself to get angry with someone, take a step back. Put that person's feelings and desires ahead of yours.
I think I needed to hear that more than anyone else...
people are jerks, it makes me mad, but what can ya do?? not a
thing i suppose!! Nothing other than shrug your shoulders, put on a
smile, and keep moving on with life!! somtimes we get upset, sometimes
we get really mad, but what is there to do?? will throwing a fit about
things solve anything at all?? probably not. so stop, breathe, think,
and then continue on with life, go to bed, and when you wake up, think
of the many blessings that you have!!

There is an overabundance of drama lately. And we just started school!
I mean, can't you all wait?! In every grade there is something. Friends
are fighting, there's homecoming drama (but thats a given), there's ex
drama, people are just sad for no reason, anything! People, just take a
step back please and BREATHE, calm down. In a month or so, it won't
even matter anymore. So why make it matter now?
Homecoming is coming up! I hope to see everyone there. Although the theme, is retarded.
